Introducing Caring for Children and Young People

The Level 2 Certificate is relevant for new childcare practitioners with no/little prior experience in the Early Years setting who would like to pursue a career as a Teaching Assistant.

This course is aimed at training newcomers to the industry to work as Nannies/Babysitters or teaching Aids in an Early Years setting. The course covers the content of nutrition, sharing learning experiences and the importance of play and a basic understanding of children’s development. Upon completion of the CACHE Level 2, can pursue a career as a Teaching Assistant. Upon completion, learners can work in settings in a babysitter/nanny role.

Is CACHE Level 2 a mandatory qualification for me to teach in the Early Year’s setting in the UAE?

Yes, as per the Ministry of Education UAE, you need to be CACHE qualified in order to be eligible to teach in the Early Year’s setting in the UAE.

Where are CACHE qualifications recognized?

CACHE qualifications are recognized and accepted globally in more than 190 countries.

What are the pre-requisites to enroll in CACHE Level 2?

You need to be at least 16 years of age, good command of English. No prior teaching experience is required.

What is the assessment structure for CACHE Level 2?

CACHE Level 2 is a 6-week course with assignments to be submitted every week. There are no midterms or exams required.

Do I need to have prior experience with children, or be currently working in an Early Years setting?

It is not compulsory. However, it would be ideal to get experience working with children if you haven’t done so.

Do you support with placement and recruitment?

We are affiliated with a variety of nurseries and schools which will help to complete your placement hours. As for recruitment we will provide you with a training about employment as complementary after completing your course duties.

Can I proceed to CACHE Level 3 after completing CACHE Level 2?

Yes, you can proceed to CACHE Level 3 upon successfully completing all the course requirements of CACHE Level 2.
